About us
In our house animals have always been but our history with Bernese Mountain Dogs began in 1998 when Jantra, a beautiful and smart representative of the breed, appeared in our home.
In 2001 Altura kennel was founded and a year later the first litter appeared.
The kennel is not large, and all dogs live with us at home and are family members. We take a very responsible approach to breeding, paying great attention to health and longevity. All of our dogs have the tests recommended for the breed and are only used in breeding when they are fully healthy and have good character. We carefully analyze pedigrees in an effort to ensure that our dogs are not only beautiful, but also healthy, long-lived and mentally balanced.
We place great focus on the raising and socialization of puppies. Like adult dogs, puppies live with us at home, socialize with daily life and learn good manners. We carefully choose new owners for them and we always offer to them support and advices.
Our kennel is registered with the Związek Kynologiczny w Polsce (the only Kennel Club in Poland that is a member of the FCI) and we have puppies with FCI pedigree.
